Regular Meeting

Present at the meeting were Tammy Wilhoit, Chris Kuhn, Bill Roberts, Lynn Fledderman, Matt Wirth, Jodi Comer, Jerry Vollmer, Daniel Craig, and Kerry McConnell.

Motion was made to waive the reading and adopt the pre-read minutes.

Commonwealth Engineers – Project Update Memo:
- Water Improvements Project – OCRA is funding the US 421 water line replacement project in the amount of $581,481. Also Reynolds Foundation granted $150,000, Rising Sun Regional Foundation $40,000, Ripley County ARPA funds $55,000, and Osgood ARPA funds $175,479.
- Upcoming Street Improvement Projects – the 2022 round 2 application
was submitted in August. Notice of award is expected late October or beginning
November.

Ripley County Area Plan commission will hold a public hearing on October 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the meeting room of the Ripley County Courthouse Annex on a proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of Ripley County, Indiana. Rezone from I-1 Industrial to R-1 Residential at 902 Tanglewood Road. Interested parties can submit suggestions or objections in writing or verbally.
Trick or Treat will be set for Saturday, October 29th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. O.B.C. will have other events scheduled that day as well, like a pumpkin race that raises money for the children's outreach program. They will also contact the American Legion to discuss the Halloween parade.
