Fred Elliot was present requesting to discuss 2 issues. He has a drainage ditch with standing water; it’s full of trees, bushes and trash. The property behind him to the east has a lot of dead trees. He wants the Town to remove the trees and all the junk. Linda Krinop explained that the property does not belong to the Town of Osgood. That is a natural water way that is owned by Mr. Elliot. We cannot go on his property and fix his problems.
Rick Hooten was present wanting to discuss the waterway on his property. He would like to cover it up. Because it is a natural waterway it cannot be shut off or blocked. Steve will get with the Engineer to determine what the appropriate pipe size would need to be for installation. Mr. Hooten would have to purchase the pipe and install it.
Dawn Dieckman with the Farm Club was present requesting their parade route be approved. She also requested that the Police Department assist them again this year.
