Regular Meeting
Tuesday, February 21, 2012
7:00 P.M.
Present at the meeting were Tammy Wilhoit, Linda Krinop, Mary Ann Gay, DeDee Holliday, Norman Kappes, Chuck Gill, Eric Roush, Walter Curtis, Tony Wood, and Al Stong.

Motion was made to waive the reading and adopt the pre-read minutes. Norman 1st, DeDee 2nd

Water Project Claims were presented:
Commonwealth Engineers - $4,190.60
Change Order #A13 - $2,835.00 for relocation of sludge blow-down controls and connecting existing chemical feed pumps to new control system.
Motion was made to approve claims and Change Order #A13. Norman 1st, DeDee 2nd

Water Project – Division C “Notice of Award” was presented to Lykins Contracting.
Sewer Project Claims were presented:
Commonwealth Engineers - $21,468.58
Motion made to approve claims. DeDee 1st, Norman 2nd

Board of Commissioners of Ripley County has reconsidered and re-evaluated the extension of sewer services to the Ripley County Highway Garage. They voted to proceed with the project.
Motion was made to proceed with the Sewer Extension plans. Norman 1st, DeDee 1st

The Agreed Oder of Compliance Plan for the Sewer NPDES Permit was presented for approval.
Motion was made for Linda to sign and accept the Agreed Order. DeDee 1st, Norman 2nd

Motion was made to allow the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary to be at the stoplight May 19th. Norman 1st, DeDee 2nd
3 – ayes
Motion was made to allow the Lions Club to be at the stoplight May 12th. Norman 1st, DeDee 2nd

Wastewater – Tony Stated there were problems with the manhole located by the BP Station. He is pushing for a contingency to get it repaired. Sewer report was good.
Police Department – Eric stated Adam has completed 8 weeks at the Academy. Monthly report was given: 3 citations, 1 agency assist, 1 warrant service, 1 dog bite, 1 drug case.
Walter Curtis was present complaining that his neighbor attached a fence to his fence. He also asked about his radio being too loud. Linda Krinop and Mary Ann Gay stated that the situation with the fence is between him and his neighbor.
