Regular Meeting
Tuesday, December 18, 2012
7:00 P.M.
Present at the meeting were Tammy Wilhoit, Linda Krinop, Mary Ann Gay, Norman Kappes, DeDee Holliday, Al Stong, Steve Wilhoit, Tony Wood, Adam Hunger, Rumpke Rep.

Motion was made to waive the reading and adopt the pre-read minutes. DeDee 1st, Norman 2nd

Motion was made to reappoint Marianne Wiggers to the Rising Sun Regional Foundation, Inc. as the Town of Osgood’s Representative. Norman 1st, DeDee 2nd

Mary Mc Carty with SIRPC was present and stated that she had spoke to IEDC concerning a grant for the Sewer Plant for a Solar Drying Bed. There is nothing available unless a specific number of jobs are created.
There will be a Public Hearing December 27, 2012 @ 2:00 P.M. concerning annexation of the Industrial Park.
Al Stong with Commonwealth Engineers presented Change Order #8 for the Sewer Project. Change Order #8 is a $27,000 deduct. Further discussions will be had with Tony concerning closing project out.
Motion was made to approve Change Order #8. DeDee 1st, Norman 2nd

Organizational Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 8th, 2013.
Street Department – Steve Wilhoit stated that he has received all Stormwater, Sidewalk and Street Lighting Easements for the upcoming project, excluding the Jerri Thayer property. The final inspection was done on the Trails with DNR. Some parking bumpers will need to be moved and the handicap signs will need to be raised. There is roughly $500 left on the grant that will be spent on signage. Also, Linkel Company has sold out to Rumpke. Rumpke is honoring Linkel’s contract. Should be a smooth transition.
Sewer Department – Tony Wood stated the report was ready to sign and the compliance period is going well. He will be working on a punch list for the completion of the Sewer Project.
Police Department – Adam Hunger gave their monthly statistical report.
Rumpke Representative was here and stated transition has been smooth.
