Regular Meeting

Present at the meeting were Linda Krinop, DeDee Holliday, Norman Kappes, Mary Ann Gay, Tammy Wilhoit, Jeff French, Robert Rolf, Adam Hunger, Chuck Gill, and Mindy Hauser.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call - all present.

Motion was made to waive the reading and adopt the pre-read minutes. Norman 1^st, DeDee 2^nd

Pay Estimate #3 from Sedam Contracting for the U.S. 421 Curb, Sidewalk, and Storm Sewer Project was presented in the amount of $88,829.22.

Motion was made to approve Sedam Contracting Pay Estimate #3. DeDee 1^st, Norman 2^nd

Margaret Mary Physician Partners (Osgood Primary Care) is requesting to have an Osgood Health Fair October 4^th from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the parking lot area near their office and to use the Community Center as a back-up for inclement weather.

Jeff French was present to discuss the Bilby Tower Project. They are planning a summer 2014 dedication.

An Agreement with Margaret Mary Health was presented by Mary Ann Gay that allows Margaret Mary Health to place a sign on the Town of Osgoods real estate, immediately adjacent to the outpatient facility in Osgood. Margaret Mary agrees that the Town will not be responsible in any way for said signage, its upkeep, maintenance, repair or replacement and waives and releases the Town from all liability or responsibility. The Agreement will be sent to Margaret Mary for their signatures.

Mindy Hauser with the Ladies Auxiliary is requesting permission to have a bake sale August 31^st from 8 to 2 at the clock area downtown.

Robert Rolf with the Legion Riders Post 173 is requesting to be at the stoplight October 12th from 8 to 12 for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Police Department  Adam Hunger gave the monthly statistical report.

Motion was made to purchase the new Dodge police car with a 2 year lease. Norman 1^st, DeDee 2^nd

Motion was made to take the old Ford Crown Vic to the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in exchange for $2,000 worth of credit hours. DeDee 1^st, Norman 2^nd

Street Department - a section of sidewalk has been repaired in front of the Osgood Primary Care, ramps and bricks have been repaired on Ripley Street, and storm drainage is completed on the U.S. 421 Project. Requesting $3,500 for the annual tree trimming in town and $900 for grills at the trails.

Gas Department - the first winter hedge is complete for the winter of 2013-2014. The hedge was completed at a fixed price for approximately 15% of the gas needed. The price was lower than the hedge completed last winter. All 3 pressure monitor stations are installed and running, alarms will be sent to both gas personnel.
