Organizational Meeting
Wednesday, January 6, 2016
6:00 P.M

Present at the meeting were Tammy Wilhoit, Norman Kappes, DeDee Holliday, Holley Rose, and John Ertel.

Roll Call - all present

Motion was made by DeDee Holliday to retain Norman Kappes as Council President. 2^nd by Holley Rose.

Motion was made to keep council meetings on the 3^rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. DeDee 1^st, Holley 2^nd

Motion was made to retain all current superintendents. Holley 1^st, DeDee 2^nd

Motion was made to appoint Council as the Board of Public Works and Safety and the Board of Finance. DeDee 1^st, Holley 2^nd

Resolution 2016-1 with contract was presented. This is a contract for cleaning services by Jeanne DeBurger to clean the Town Hall and Community Center.

Motion was made to approve Resolution 2016-1 and sign the contract. Holley 1^st, DeDee 2^nd

Resolution 2016-2 with contract was presented. This is a contract for cleaning services by Jeanne DeBurger to clean the Gas Utility Office.

Motion was made to approve Resolution 2016-2 and sign the contract. Holley 1^st, DeDee 2^nd

Resolution 2016-3 with contract was presented. This contract is to employ John A. Ertel for legal services.

Motion was made to approve 2016-3 and sign the contract. DeDee 1^st, Holley 2^nd

Resolution 2016-4 with contract was presented. This contract states that the Town of Osgood needs to provide fire protection services to the residents and businesses. Osgood Volunteer Fire Department is available and willing to provide this service.

Motion was made to approve Resolution 2016-4 and sign the contract. Holley 1^st, DeDee 2^nd

Resolution 2016-5 with contract was presented. This contract states that the Town of Osgood has the legal authority to contract with the Jackson Center Delaware Fire Territory for the provision of fire protection services, the fire protection services by the Osgood Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. through the Town of Osgood.

Motion was made to approve Resolution 2016-5 and sign the contract. Holley 1^st, DeDee 2^nd

Conflict of Interest forms were signed.
